My retirement and loss of both parents, sent me a bit adrift in the world. My identity was no longer defined as a daughter, child nor by the corporate label of employee, coworker or boss. More importantly, I recognized that my accomplishments to date, were limited in impact to a corporate “family that I was no longer a part of. In the big picture of life, they were insignificant. I’ve wrestled with the question “What was my legacy?” What would be the evidence that I was here? These images are an examination of legacies I’ve observed around me. Its been a journey to arrive to a simple personal truth. The vestiges of my life will be defined by the people that I touch and the difference that I can make in their lives.
